Wheels on the Bus

Look at my new talent - I can do the wheels now!!

Kindergarten

On Wednesday I took the ferry up to see Grammie at school. I really liked to play with the pretend food and giant dollhouse and the students all laughed when I knocked some books onto the floor.

I love Grammie and Grampie

Grammie and Grampie McMahon stopped by to play with me this weekend. They see me pretty often, but are always amazed by how much I've changed between visits! I gave Grampie a nice hug and climbed in Grammie's lap to read my favorite books. I showed them my newest dance move (shrugging my shoulder and walking sideways) and how I can put my hat on all by myself.

Painting Pots

Last week at baby school I got to paint a flower pot. I didn't get to take it home with me since I'll need it there next week - we're going to play with dirt and plant seeds. I'm not sure why Mom kept saying that the paint was yucky, because I thought it was deee-licious!!

Happy Easter!

Today I went to the Snohomish egg hunt and parade with Mom while Dad went up to Skagit County to run in the Tulip Race. I wasn't really awake for the egg hunt and was very overwhelmed by all of the people around me, so I didn't get many eggs. That's ok since Mom won't let me eat the candy inside them anyway! After the egg hunt, we watched the Snohomish Easter Parade. It was over an hour long! I liked the doggies the best. The Seafair Pirates kept shooting a loud cannon, but it didn't make me cry. I wore a nice hat that Mom made for the easter bonnet contest. I didn't win one of the big prizes, but did manage to score a basket with a stuffed bunny and some other prizes in it. Dad did really well in the 2 mile race - he got 3rd place in his age group and came home with a medal!

Big Teeth

Look at my big teeth! I've got 7 incisors and 4 molars poking out now. I'm not sure where the 8th incisor is hiding - I look funny with only 3 on the bottom! My teeth haven't bothered me at all - sometimes I drool and stick my fingers in my mouth to touch my new molars, but they don't make me cry. I've been grumpy for the past couple of days because I had a 103 degree fever and now I've lost my voice! Mom thinks it's funny when I cry and no noise comes out. We've been spending lots of time snuggling, reading books, and taking naps this week.

Last weekend we had really warm, sunny weather. I played in the yard and tried out my new bathing suit in the kiddie pool. I had fun splashing around and getting in and out, over and over. Monday it was too cold to put water in the pool, so I spent quite awhile filling it up with rocks from our walkway while Mom worked on the garden.

Baby School

Here's me with my friends at Baby School during snack and storytime. Miss Jenna is singing the Brown Bear book to us while we munch graham crackers and Kix.

Boot Scootin'

How do I look? Chelsie let me clomp around in her fancy boots!

Muppets!

Last week we went to see the Imagine Inn puppet show at Tim Noah's Thumbnail theater in Snohomish. I wasn't quite sure what to make of the puppets on stage, but they held my attention for the whole hour. I got to meet one of them after the show - she even let me touch her beautiful necklace!
